Two ageing datacentres were approaching end of lease with no migration plan. Provisioning a new environment took eleven weeks of ticket queues, and deployment happened monthly at best.
What we did
We established a multi-account AWS landing zone with policy-as-code guardrails, then migrated workloads in dependency-ordered waves. A self-service internal platform reduced environment provisioning from eleven weeks to under an hour, and cost visibility was pushed down to each owning team.
