A core banking platform sat on an Oracle estate whose licensing renewal had become the single largest line in the technology budget. Regulatory obligations meant the cutover window could not exceed five minutes, and no transaction could be lost or duplicated.
What we did
Change data capture kept both estates in lockstep for eleven weeks while an automated reconciler compared every table row by row until divergence held at zero for fourteen consecutive days. The cutover itself was rehearsed nine times against production-scale data before the live run, which completed in four minutes and eleven seconds.
