Accessibility statement

What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, and what we have not done yet.

Last updated 17 September 2026

Our commitment

We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We treat accessibility as part of the definition of done rather than as a later pass, and we would rather hear that we have fallen short than not know.

What we have done

  • Semantic HTML with a single, meaningful h1 on every page and a correct heading order — checked automatically on every build.
  • Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring that meets contrast requirements.
  • A "Skip to content" link is the first thing keyboard users reach.
  • Text and interface colours are checked against the background for WCAG AA contrast.
  • Entrance animations and the animated hero artwork respect prefers-reduced-motion; with that setting on, content appears immediately rather than animating in.
  • The layout reflows down to a 320px viewport and survives 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling.
  • Form fields have real labels, and validation errors are associated with their field and announced rather than shown by colour alone.
  • Decorative artwork is hidden from assistive technology; meaningful images carry text alternatives.

Known limitations

Being straightforward about where we are:

  • This site has not yet been audited by an independent accessibility specialist.
  • We have not completed structured testing with screen readers across the full range of browser and assistive-technology combinations.
  • Some case-study figures are conveyed through visual charts; the underlying numbers are always given as text alongside them, but the charts themselves are not individually described.

Tell us if something does not work

If you hit a barrier on this site, email info@isquarelabs.com with the page address and a short description of what happened. Please say what browser and assistive technology you were using if you can — it makes the problem much faster to reproduce.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to tell you our plan for fixing the issue within ten.

Alternatives

If any content on this site is inaccessible to you, we will provide it in another format on request — plain text, large print or over a call. Just ask.
